No, I’m not in Australia.
Or working on Capitol Hill.
Or playing a violin.
Or flying a plane. . .
But my hair is 10 inches shorter today, after growing it out for about 18 months! I’m donating my hair for wigs for cancer patients, something I’ve wanted to do as long as I can remember. (If you’re interested in donating, click here. This website lists links to several websites of organizations that handle hair donation for wigs.)
And I was amazed that after cutting off ten inches of hair (yes, it really was ten inches) . . .
There was still plenty of hair left in back for a cut that I was very pleased with!
I love getting a drastic haircut now and then! And short hair is great for the summer. Thanks, Becky! (Salon Becky–not to be confused with Me Becky.)
I am donating my hair in honor of two very special cancer survivors: Kandice Robinson and Kristi English.
Becky, your hair looks great! So what did you think of the new Salon? I need to make an appt. before baby! I believe Becky is the girl I started off with when she was at Salon Blush. Enjoy having 10 inches of less hair!! = )
Cute hair!!
Thanks for your blog about Kandice. She truly brought God honor and glory!
Becky, your hair looks good! Very flattering! 🙂
Wonderful to know that it will be used to help someone. Glad that you were able to fulfill your desire.
Loved it! Will definitely go back! 🙂 There are four people who came from Blush and the girl that washed my hair (not Becky–I didn’t get her name) remembered you! I know she actually remembered you, because she said “Yes, she used to go to Blue, didn’t she?” 🙂
Jenn grew up in the neighborhood, not far from us, so her conversation was quite interesting too.
